The Managing Director/CEO of KAS Consult LTD, Mr. Ademola Kasumu, has challenged Corporate Organizations and Government agencies on the fight against the dreaded coronavirus Pandemic in Nigeria.

The company also donated 50 Million Naira 3 in 1 protection park to final year students to launch the product in Abuja.

The MD who throw the challenge during a press briefing to commemorate World Marks Week on Thursday in Abuja.

He said that, they believed that the best way to conquer covid-19 in the country is to fight with love, by contributing and donating PPEs to the vulnerable as a way to curb community spread of the virus which informed his reason of choosing only the final year students sitting for WAEC in schools within Abuja for the distribution.

“We implore Organizations, Companies, Government agencies too, to join hands with us, the fight against the COVID-19, cannot be fought by government alone”. He urged.

Ademola explained that just recently, presidential task on Covid-19 warned that the nation is at a very dangerous stage of community transmission, even as it expressed concern that the pandemic may spread to all the 774 Local Government Areas, of the Federation.

” Until there is a vaccine, the only option we have as citizens to protect ourselves it still the non- pharmaceutical measures which have proven to be cheap and effective, such as the appropriate use of face marks”. He said.

He also said that, studies have showed that the use of face marks is reducing the risks of Covid-19 infection.

According to him, Covid-19 has brought with it many sad and precarious moments, however, from the experience, humanity has come to learn that everyone must unite if we to have a real chance of defeating this menace.

“In a sense, the pandemic has rekindled the spirit of togetherness and the unity of purpose in human race” he noted.
