APC Convention: Adamu picks Party Chair Form

…says he is capable to pilot the affairs of the party

A former Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, on Wednesday purchase expression of interest form to contest for the national chairmanship position.

A group lead by Director General of Adamu campaign organisation Hon. Lawrence Unuchukwu stormed the Buhari house to purchase the form on behalf of the Senator.

Hon. Lawrence Unuchukwu, the , while responding to questions from journalists after picking the form for the aspirant said, Adamu has the capacity and the capability to pilot the affairs of the APC.

In his “If you have been following the antecedents of Abdullahi Adamu, you will know and agree with me that he is the man who has the capacity and the capability to pilot the affairs of this great party.

” You will also agree with me if you are a member of this party that he was the chairman of Nine man Committee who went round the country to reconcile the party members that makes us see some of the governors who joined us today.

“That alone for me and for us is a wonderful reason for us to say he should come and pilot the affairs of this great party as the chairman of this great party.

Unuchukwu while answering questions on the rumours of Adamu being the anointed candidate of president Muhammadu Buhari said; “if that rumour is something to go by for me is a boast to us, that is to show you Mr president is a man of integrity, I’m sure he will not want to associate himself with somebody who does not have capacity to pilot the affairs of this party.”

“You are also aware that this party whether we like it or not we must not pretend of some challenges and we need a man, we need an administrator, we need a politician, we need a man who has the capacity to take us to the next level of this party.

” We as the campaign team, Senator Abdullahi Adamu is most qualified to take this party to the next level. Every body has done his best especially the governor of Yobe state, because he has put his best through him; we have seen so many governors decamping to our great party which shows that he is a good man. so we wish him well but in life you will start from somewhere and end somewhere for another person to start from there.

“I can assure you with Abdullahi Adamu who has seen it all as a former minister, as a party man, as a two term governor and a three term governor. What else do you need from this man than to come and give service to this great party so that we would take this party to the next level, “he said.
