ALDIN Tasks Nigerian Government to Constitute PWDs Commission.

The Association of Lawyers with Disabilities ALDIN, has call on the Nigerian government as a matter of urgency to constitute a national commission for persons with disabilities and as well implement disabilities prohibition act.

Addressing a press conference in Abuja, President Association of Lawyers with Disabilities, Daniel Onwe, lamented the inability of PWDs to access justice administration system in the country, saying the courts environments are not disability friendly.

The Association also the want the security agencies to make their procedures and as well offices accessible to persons with disabilities.

He further called on Nigeria Bar Association NBA, to champion the cause of people living with disability and the downtrodden members of the society.

ALDIN, also assured collaboration with the Judiciary and security agencies to ensure they actualize the inclusion of PWDs in their systems.
