8 terrorists eliminated in Kaduna

Eight terrorists were eliminated by troops of Operation Forest Sanity and six motorcycles were seized during ambush patrols in the Chikun/Birnin Gwari general areas of Kaduna State.

This is according to feedback to the Kaduna State Government saying the troops set up ambush positions at terrorists’ crossing points in the Buruku/Birnin Gwari areas.

The troops thus made contact with the terrorists, and neutralized eight, while recovering four motorcycles and three mobile phones in the first successful mission.

The troops then engaged bandits in a second mission and recovered two motorcycles, a statement signed by Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, said.
