Supreme Court Verdict:  NUT President  Drums Support for Gov. Sani

The National President of Nigeria Union of Teachers NUT comrade Audu Titus Amba joins other well-meaning Nigerians to congratulate the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani over last Friday’s ruling by the Apex court affirming him as the duly elected Governor of the State on the February, 2023 gubernatorial election.

 

The NUT National president, in a statement, made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday,  described the ruling of the Court as a resounding victory for all peace-loving people of the state.

 

Comrade Audu Amba used the occasion to appeal to all and sundry to support and cooperate with Governor Uba Sani for a more peaceful and prosperous Kaduna State.

Nigeria’s number one teacher who also doubles as the deputy national president of Nigeria Labour Congress, expressed confidence in the ability and capacity of Governor Uba Sani to effect positive changes and restore the hope of the common man, especially in the areas of peace and security,  religious harmony as well as socioeconomic and political growth.

 

According to the NUT president, Governor Uba Sani has displayed the visionary qualities of a true democratic leader with genuine concern for the welfare and wellbeing of his citizens through a renewed approach to bridging ethnic and religious gaps in all sections of the state, hence the need for prayers and support for his administration sustained agenda to be achieved.

 

Similarly, Comrade Audu Amba who is also the Vice president of Education International, African Region also felicitated his predecessor and the current Executive Governor of Kebbi state Dr Nasir Idris over his victory at the Supreme Court, describing it as the will of the people.

 

The Unionist said, no doubt the validation of the election of Dr Nasir Idris was a clear testament to the track record of his achievements, calling on the people of Kebbi State to rally around his administration for the needed dividends of democracy.
