Kwande Council Boss Charges Staff On Consistency, Commitment To Duty

….assures better welfare, conducive working environment

Members of the National Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Kwande Chapter have been admonished to display reasonable level of sincerity, consistency and committment to discharge of their respective duties in Kwande local government area.

The Council Boss Fr. Mark Hule gave the charge was given during a one-day familiarization and interactive session between the Caretaker Committee Council and staff of Kwande local government at the Secretariat.

This was revealed in statement issued to journalist by the council spokesperson on Friday.

According to him, “Rev. Fr. Hule reiterated his commitment to improved security within the local government and safety of every staff of the council also promised to routinely look into their welfare, He promise to open a Canteen in the secretariat where food will be sold at subsidize rates for workers.

The Chief Security officer frowned at negligence to duty of the workers and warned that his administration will no longer condone the habit of workers abandoning their duty posts without cogent reasons and coming late to work.

The NULGE Chairperson of Kwande Local Government Area, Mr. Isaac Igbanongo in his reaction assured the Council Chairman of workers willingness to join hands with him to make his good intentions for the local government a reality. He thanked the Chairman for putting workers welfare above all in his administration which includes prompt payment of salaries and other entitlements.

The NULGE boss vowed to work and support the Rev. Fr. Hule led government with utmost respect and sincerity. He charged the workers to be up and doing to reciprocate the kind gestures of the Caretaker Chairman.
