Command Guest House, Kaduna agog for 63rd independence anniversary

Command Guest House, along WAFF Road, Kaduna went agog on Sunday, 1st October, 2023, as hundreds of residents turned out to mark Nigeria’s 63rd independence anniversary amidst dances and music, in appreciation of Africa’s most populous nation.

The Guest House is an esteemed, reputable secured home of hospitality in the town.

According to the General Manager of the Guest House, Edet Etom, the facility is celebrating the Independence anniversary in style to acknowledge the 63 years of peace and unity in the country despite challenges.

The Celebration titled “Comedy BLAST” according to him was dedicated to celebrating the good people of Kaduna Metropolis who have cultivated the attitude of peaceful coexistence despite differences in religion and tribe.

Mr. Edet added the event was designed to raise the spirits of Kaduna residents, inspire them, and entertain them with the vibrant Entertainment, drinks, and food that the Guest House is known for, embodying the spirit of Nigeria’s independence and has helped the Nigerian culture to make its mark on the world.”

The event was very exciting and hosted performances from artists like Kate Runtown, Jerry Wonder Praiz Dancers, and Deejay Abubakar Umar (DJ Cool) who thrilled the customers with Reggae, Highlife, and Afro-hip-hop music respectively.

The customers also were treated to rib-breaking laughter as Comedian, MC Ola cracked jokes that saw customers asking for more.

A guest Hon. Danjuma said he wanted to celebrate the anniversary at the Command Guest House because it is very secure, with good services both from the kitchen and Bar.

He added that the maturity exhibited by the guest is also one of the reasons that make him always choose the Guest House before others. According to him, there is mutual respect for everyone.

Another Guest Mohammed Sani who spent the night in the Snooker Arena said there is no comparison to the Command Guest House in time of entertainment and accommodation.

Speaking in the same vein, Tina Yakubu, said there is no better place to celebrate the 63 years of being together as a Nation than Command Guest House. She said “I am here, to have fun and celebrate my country at 63. It is not easy, so we have to celebrate and I thank Command Guest for hosting us,” she said.

The Comedy Blast organized by the Command Guest House has shown that Nigerians have much to be proud of because the country’s flag embodies precisely that goal: the green represents its agricultural lands, the white the people’s commitment to peace and togetherness.
