The National Chairman of AA Dr. Adekunle Rufai Omo-Aje stated this in a statement made available to the media in Kaduna on 25th October 2023.

He was reacting to the quarterly meeting with political parties by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu where the Commission stated that free and fair elections can be conducted in a peaceful atmosphere, urging political parties to maintain peace during campaigns and on election day.

Omo-Aje said it is reciprocal for them as a stakeholder in the election to work with INEC to ensure that the Governors of the three states are elected through a peaceful and transparent process.

He stated that the primaries were peaceful and orderly, saying those who won were magnanimous in their victories.

Speaking about the Kogi State election, the AA National Chairman said the Party Candidate Olayinka Braimoh will be victorious to rule Kogi after Gov. Yahaya Bello on Jan. 27, 2024.

According to him, the youthful Guber candidate of the Party is very optimistic about victory at the forthcoming governorship election in the state because of the overwhelming support he was enjoying from the people.

“Our Party will emerge winner of the November 11 Kogi governorship election through the free, fair, and credible election.

“Similarly, our Candidate in Imo State, Major General Jack Lincoln Ogulewe, Rtd is coasting to victory because of wide acceptance by the good people of the state.” He concluded.
