“To Build a Robust MODACS With Global Best Practices, Acceptability” – Edache

The President of the Ministry of Defence Agricultural Cooperative Society (MODACS), Dr. Edacbhe Okoh Adigwu has assured members of his Cooperative Society that his administration would built a robust Agricultural Cooperative Society with a global best practice accepted all over the world.

Edache also said he would run an all inclusive government, digitalization of MODACS activities, membership drive, increased dividend and good working relationship with other members.

He stated this while briefing newsmen on Friday ahead of the Cooperative forth coming Annual General meeting (AGM) in Abuja.

He said as an agricultural based cooperative group would embarked on capacity building of members in Agro-business filed and also promote small/medium scale businesses through seminars, workshops and conferences.

He also said the cooperative would assist members to take practical steps in establishing their own farms and other businesses through the support of government agencies and the private sector.

He admonished people to take advantage of the cooperative facilities with a low interest rate of 5 percent, promising that the cooperative would give priority attention to retirees which he said will pay them 800 thousand naira retirement benefits without paying back after they may have been out of office.
