RE: EDO STATE 15-MAN SCREENING COMMITTEE; REJECTION OF MEMBERSHIP OF ONE BARR. OSAYOMWANBOR AGBONS

We, members of Concerned PDP Youths, Orhionmwon Local Government Area hereby reject the nomination and membership of Barr. Osayomwanbor Agbonmwandolor of the above-named Committee set-up by our amiable Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki.
It is a truism that this present administration have thrived thus far on the enviable principle of putting square pegs in square holes. This and other laudable principles of this Government have led to massive development and transformation across the various sectors of the State.
*However, it will be rather unfair, immoral and unjust to appoint those who sold out to the opposition and lost their units and wards in the last September 19, 2020 gubernatorial election into Appointments screening Committee.* How can a man who lost his unit and Ward in the last election have the moral justification to screen distinguished, loyal and faithful party men and women who are nominated as worthy and successful electoral drivers in their various units, wards and Local Government Areas?
*In other clime, somebody like Barr. Osayomwanbor AGBONS (Agbonmwandolor) who votes in unit 18, Ihokhin village, UGBEKA ward 03, Orhionmwon Local Government Area and lost this unit woefully to the opposition would have resigned his membership of this Committee upon inauguration.* How then can he comfortably sit and screen those who won their units, wards and Local Government for the party?
Finally, it is our humble request that since the said member of the screening Committee has refused to honourably step aside from the Committee, we demand his immediate removal.
Once again, we do sincerely appreciate the giant developmental strides of this administration across our beloved State. Edo people home and abroad are proud of our amiable Governor and his ‘Make-Edo-Great-Again’ (MEGA) agenda .
