Naval Command to Build Industrial Sewing Workshop and Boarding School In Oghara.

Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Nigerian Navy Logistics Command Headquarters, Oghara, Rear Admiral S S Lassa today paid a maiden courtesy visit to Oghara Monarch, HRM, Orefe III, Uku Oghara Na’Me, Ovie of Oghara Kingdom at his palace. Rear Admiral Lassa appreciate the monarch and Oghara people for the hospitality accorded since he assumed duty at the Command. This visit according to him is customary to seek the monarch prayers and blessings. He used the occasion to inform the monarch series of initiatives he introduced to compliment the effort of his predecessors. These include a industrial sewing workshop where officers and navy students uniforms will be sewn; Naval Secondary Boarding School to be sited at the Navy Land in Oghareki. These initiatives will generate employment opportunities for the people of Oghara.

Oghara Monarch appreciate the FOC for the visit which will renew and deepened the relationship between Oghara Kingdom and the Command. He equally thanked the Command for the Covid19 palliatives given to Oghara people. He appreciated Rear Admiral Lassa renewed effort geared toward the payment of full and final compensation to land owners that the Navy encroached.
The Iyasere of Oghara Kingdom, Uzzi Samson Takpor; Chief Destiny Okwe, Unugbrogodo of Oghareki Oguedion Council of Chiefs and Elders; Chief Stephen Egbivwi, Unuvwero of Ogharefe Oguedion Council of Chiefs and Elders were at the palace to receive the FOC.
