According to Air Vice Marshal Michael Ekwueme, Chairman Organizing Committee, the NAF has made tremendous progress in internal security, humanitarian assistance, peacekeeping operations, and democracy restoration in Africa. The Service has also achieved significant breakthroughs in Research and Development.

It will feature diverse activities, including medical outreaches, Juma’at prayers, and an Inter-Command Research and Development Competition. Additionally, there will be an Inter-Denominational Church Service, the unveiling of the newly licensed NAF Micro Finance Bank, and the commissioning of projects completed by the current leadership of NAF.

The highlight of the celebration will be a grand Ceremonial Parade, Aerial display, and Flying out of retired senior officers including the 37 and 38 Regular Courses on May 25, 2024 where the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour. In a novel approach, the NAF has partnered with Great Minds Event Management to bring in foreign exhibitors and participants, alongside local exhibitors, to showcase the capabilities of local defence companies.
