Kaduna Guber Poll: Group Endorses Uba Sani

A group under the aegis of Amalgamation of Deregistered Political Parties in Nigeria (ADPPN), Kaduna chapter, has endorsed the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Uba Sani, saying he has the best credentials for the job.
This was disclosed in a press conference by Alhaji Muhammad Ahmad and Ambassador Matoh Yakubu, Chairman and Secretary of the forum, respectively, held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kaduna State Council Secretariat on Tuesday.
The group said that before arriving at this juncture, it had consulted widely with its members, a network of stakeholders, and opinion leaders, pointing out that it had given members the clear record of achievement of distinguished Senator Uba Sani, a civil society activist, a crusader for social justice, an award-winning (ICPC certified) anti-corruption crusader, and a high-performing Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
ADPPN, however, expressed dismay over negative signals coming from some political parties who have decided to create a political gimmick they called a “Muslim-Muslim” ticket.
According to the forum, this phrase is a coinage of the opposition in Kaduna State. The APC only gave voice to our women who have been kept in the backyard for a long, and for the last four years, the performance of Kaduna State women in Governance has been clear for everyone to see.
“We state clearly that the combination of Sen Uba Sani and Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe is a strategic strike at the political balancing act.
“This political brinkmanship is giving the opposition a nightmare because the strategy has provided Kaduna State with critical development strides unprecedented in the annals of the history of the State.
“We, the Amalgamation of de-Registered Political Parties Kaduna State chapter, on behalf of our teeming membership in the 23 LGAs, wards, and communities, on this 14th day of March 2023, do hereby declare that we wholeheartedly endorse the candidacy of Senator Dr. Uba Sani of the All-Progressive Congress (APC) as the preferred choice for the Governor of Kaduna State in the election slated for March 18th, 2023.
“This endorsement comes with our full support to deploy our team to serve as canvassers, street captains, gatekeepers, and anti-rigging squad to help ensure that the APC and Dr. Uba Sani emerge victorious in the Governorship election 2023 because he is the man for the job.
“We call on the good people of Kaduna State to troop out in their numbers and cast their votes for Distinguished Senator Uba Sani so that, by the grace of God, he will be the next governor of Kaduna State,” ADPPN stated.
The forum commiserated with the Government and people of Kaduna State over the unfortunate violence that led to the loss of lives in the part of the Zangon Kataf LGA of the state.
It also commiserated with the people who lost their loved ones while calling on the security agencies to fish out the perpetrators and bring them to justice quickly so that full normalcy can return to the area ahead of the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections on Saturday.
