Healpers incorporated Host Fundraising For Orphanage Home, Humanitarian Awards

Healpers Incorporated USA, on Saturday 30th July 2022 host a fund raising for Destined Orphanage Home as well as an humanitarian awards in Abuja.
The fund raising was aimed at securing a home for the orphans at the Destined Children Orphanage, who may be evicted if they fail to purchase the property they lived in by the end of the year.
Speaking with Journalist in an interview at the event the President and Founder, of Healpers Incorporated USA, Mrs Estella Ogbonna, said her joy was to see the kids happy.
In her words: “I’m a humanitarian, I like to help the needy and must especially the orphans.
Speaking further, Estella who also abduct her daughter at same orphanage home noted that, “the project is something dear to my heart, because I have always had a passion since I was a kid to do stuffs for orphans I saw this orphanage and I saw how the kids were all taken care of and when I realised they have this housing challenge and I have the ability, since I work with nonprofit organization that deals with similar issues for over years, so I call a team together to rescue those kids.
According to her, ” no orphan project themselves to be orphan, it is not their fault that their parents died.
“Orphanage homes are not easy to run, imagine you are running a house full if 50 kids.
” Am appealing to people out there, even if it is exercise books, even if it is cloths your kids use and are not bad go to any orphanage out there and donate, help those people that take care of orphans.
Speaking about the donations made at the event, Estella noted that: “To me is not just about tonight event, is about people donating after to save the children eviction out of the property.
” Like what I said anybody can walk out from here with a mind set like I wish I can give a million naira, and God can open a door for you and deep down you know God has given you an assignment to go give to those kids.
“Anybody that didn’t donate today can still donate we are still going to promote and tell people to come out and give their donation. Down the line we will still do another kind of fund raising until those kids have a shelter over their heads, not just those kids alone but other orphans around the country.
On her part, the country’s Representative and Programme Director of Healpers Incorporated USA, Jane Thomas Rogers also noted that focus of the event was to ensured the shelter of the kids at the destined orphanage home.
She said: “we actually organized this event for the public to support towards the shelter needs of those children, we have from now till end of this year to either raise the fund and secure the property or the kids been evicted out of the place, that is why we are calling on well meaning Nigerians out there home and abroad to please support this project, key into it, partner with us and let’s make life beautiful for those kids,” she added.
The event was grace by dignitaries and the media, awards were given to humanitarians and personalities.
