The Department Of State Services (DSS) has revealed another plot by some subversive elements to disrupt the inauguration of Bola Tinubu, the president-elect on May 29th.
Peter Afunaya, the spokesperson of the service said the agency was much aware of the plot and prepared ahead of them.
In a statement on Thursday, Afunaya urged Nigerians, CSOs and media to adhere strictly to the security guidelines on the day of the inauguration in Abuja.
The service then warned those it described as subversive elements working to stop the inauguration of Tinubu and governors-elect across the country on Monday.

“This is more so that such undesirable acts will serve no purpose other than destroying national unity and cohesion”.

“Additionally, all unauthorised and unaccredited persons are warned to stay away from restricted and certain designated areas at the event venues”.

The Service reiterates its earlier call for the populace to remain calm and law abiding. Meanwhile, it will continue to sustain collaboration with sister agencies to ensure successful inaugurations, he added.
