Divine intervention gave us victory in Ekiti gov election, says Fayemi
Mrs. Bisi Fayemi, the wife of the Ekiti governor, has attributed the victory of her husband, Kayode, in the July 14, 2018 governorship poll to divine intervention.
Fayemi, who said this on Monday in Ado-Ekiti while speaking with newsmen, enjoined Nigerians to always wait on God during hard times for divine intervention.
She said her resolve to wait on God with absolute trust in His powers saw her family through the trying times.
“Many people who have been following the political terrain in Ekiti State could attest to the challenges we went through, but we came out of them victorious.
“God’s mercies come with their conditions, and if God has shown you mercy you need to show mercy to others and when He shows you favour, you have to show favour to others.
“If you are not doing this, it shows you are not being grateful to God.
“Wait on the Lord, and be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. That has been my testimony; waiting on the Lord and being of good courage,’’ she said.
