Gov. Aspirant Susan Waya Consultation Train Hit Benue South Senatorial District

The Peoples Democratic Party top gubernatorial aspirant in Benue State, Mrs. Susan Nguveren Waya yesterday 22nd October 2021 in Otukpo Benue State held interface with the Benue South Senatorial District Caucus of PDP in Otukpo, headquarters of the idoma Nation to seek for their support in the forthcoming Governorship Election in 2023.

The 2023 Gubernatorial Aspirant in her keynote address said her desire to go into the governorship race was to contribute her quota in transforming the state and her people.

Hon Waya also said, her focus is vast from educational to agriculture, health as well as infrastructure.

“These sectors need to be revamp and will be done if given the opportunity”

“I moved through the nooks and crannies of the sate, I knows the challenges and how to solve them”, She stressed.

Speaking further, she said it is important to ensure that women are able to participate on equal terms in both formal and informal decision-making structures in order to deepen democracy, adding that this is the right time to reduce the low political representation of women in our society.

The only female aspirant on the platform of PDP Hon Mrs Susan Waya appreciated his Excellency Governor Samuel Ortom and his amiable wife Dr. Eunice Ortom, the duputy Governor Engr. Benson Abouno and the state PDP chairman Hon. John Ngbede for the wonderful work they have been doing for the progress and development of the party and state at large.

Responding, the G9 chairman elders forum, Sir Moses Ajima, PDP chairman Ohimini local government, Hon Adakole Akatu and Mrs Agnes Ubah whom spoke for the women, all gave their approval to support her and described Mrs Susan Nguveren Waya’s action as a bold one hence calling on all women to emulate her.

In his remarks, the zonal chairman Hon Godwin Owulo describe Mrs Susan Waya’s previous activities in the party as inspiring and qualifies her for the governorship seat come 2023.

The governorship aspirant and her entourage earlier paid an unscheduled condolence visit to the palace of the Ochidoma over the sojourn of His Royal Majesty the Ochidoma iv, Elias Obekpa.

She was led by her DG Hon. Iorver William Sember, Hon. Bem Tiga, Muhammad Yahaya Sulaiman Winnifred Ehimhen and several of her other supporters who were mostly women.
